4 weeks of human biological science classes provide an introduction to most of the body’s organ systems and how they work together to keep the body functioning. Ideal for ages 5-10, we will include engaging, hands-on, age appropriate projects and exploration of the following body systems:
Week 1: Respiratory and Circulatory Systems
Week 2: Digestive and Urinary Systems
Week 3: Muscular and Skeletal Systems
Week 4: The Brain and The Five Senses
All activities will promote a child’s critical thinking skills and are components of STEM Education, a term initiated by the National Science Foundation. STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
And every family receives one awesome Usborne See Inside Your Body Book to continue learning at home!
